Call of Duty: Ghosts is a first-person shooter video game from Activision to be the tenth main installment in the Call of Duty series, and the sixth developed by Infinity Ward. Call of Duty: Ghosts will feature a completely new setting, characters, and system. It will still feature linear sections, but it is said to have "easter eggs" within the game to alter missions slightly. The setting of the game is a war-torn America ten years after an ODIN strike, launched via satellite after a hijacking, devastated the landscape and invasion from the Federation, a conglomeration of several South American countries. The single player will feature a dog companion named Riley (after the eponymous Simon "Ghost" Riley), fighting in outer space, a story featuring a team of "Ghosts," who are remnants of elite U.S. special forces teams, and various other features.

God of War Ascension

 

God of War: Ascension is the new installment in the popular God of War series. It is the seventh game of the series, and will chronologically be the first chapter in the series, forming part of a saga with vengeance as a central theme. It will predate Kratos' entire reign as the god of war, and supposedly features a timeline roughly six months after Kratos' unintentional killing of his wife and daughter. If confirmed, possible flashbacks could also occur, seeing as how this timeline follows his allegiance to Ares, which was already addressed in the original God of War. It will mark a new chapter in Kratos' story, as its listing notes to "Join Kratos as he takes his first steps on a now legendary quest for freedom, redemption, and the clarity to avenge his family in the most ambitiuous God of War adventure in the series so far."

Taking place right before the events of God of War: Chains of Olympus and God of War, it's been 6 months since Kratos murdered his wife and child due to Ares' trickery. Having sworn off his oath to the God of War and refusing to fight for him or do his bidding any longer, the three great Furies, Goddesses of Punishment, Justice and Torment have been sent by Hades to capture Kratos and imprison him in a Titan-sized prison for the living damned, where he is tortured for months on end, driven insane, and constantly haunted by the visions of the night he lost everything dear to him.

Fueled by a desire and lust for revenge against Ares, along with a need to redeem himself among the other Gods to earn salvation, Kratos manages to break free of his imprisonment and sets out on a journey to murder the Furies. If he can successfully murder them he can sever all ties to Ares without consequence. Throughout this journey Kratos will battle famous mythical beasts and icons of ancient Greece, as well as his own plunge into madness as he fights his constant nightmares, further testing his humanity and his determination for salvation and redemption.

Kratos: The main protagonist of the game. Kratos finds himself on the edge of madness, 6 months after the death of his wife and child, he broke his blood oath with Ares. This betrayal, brought for the judgement of the Furies. Now he haves to escape his prison and destroy the Furies before they capture him again.

Megaera: The first Fury to be seen in the game, she tortures Kratos relentlessly but in doing so, unintentionally releases him from his shackles.

Orkos: He helps Kratos to break the bounds of the Furies and is the one who tells Kratos to go to Delphi.

Archimedes: A historical mathematician, physicist, engineer, inventor, and astronomer whose role in the game has yet to be determined.

Oracle Altheia: Kratos is sent to Delphi to find the Oracle, she might help him in his quest.

Lysandra: She appears for Kratos in visions during the game.

Calliope: Just as her mother, she appears in visions to Kratos

Wei Shen is the main protagonist of the game Sleeping Dogs. He is a Chinese-American undercover police officer who is tasked with going undercover for the Hong Kong Police to infiltrate the Triads. Wei is a very talented martial artist, marksman and driver. Sleeping Dogs (under the title called Sleeping Dogs: Hong Kong Secret Police is the upcoming open-world crime drama game being developed by United Front Games and published by the Square Enix London studios. Originally, the game was going to be the third in the True Crime series, but Activision cancelled the game since the first two True Crime games did not sell up to the expectations, so in August 2011, Square Enix bought the publishing rights from Activision, but renamed the game due to Square Enix not purchasing the True Crime IP. The game will take place in modern-day Hong Kong. Each of the section were divided by four fictional sections: North Point, Central, Kennedy Town, and Aberdeen. One of those districts will provide different resources, different buyable stuff, and different missions that will be provided to the player in one of those districts. Hong Kong is depicted fictionally as an island instead of being a city within china. The combat system will heavily revolve around hand-to-hand fighting with influences from Batman: Arkham Asylum/City (fluid controls and movement, but excludes the use to counter multiple of attackers at once). In Sleeping Dogs the player can opt using: combos, Melee weapons, counter enemies, and using the environment to diminish Wei's enemies.

Max Payne 3 is a third-person shooter videogame, the third title in the Max Payne series. Set to be released in May, 2012, it is being developed primarily by Rockstar Vancouver and will be published by Rockstar Games for the PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.

The story of the game was stated to be set 8 years after the events of Max Payne 2. Max Payne 3 tells the story of a hard-boiled, retired New York City police detective Max Payne who is embroiled in a world of corruption, turmoil and intense violence. Highly disturbed by his past in New York City, Payne left for Brazil. He has developed a painkiller addiction, is an alcoholic by this point, and is employed as a bodyguard for Rodrigo Branco and his family. Max Payne 3 will feature an improved Bullet Time mode: more details of the game's world will be presented in slow-motion, presumably such as those of flying bullet casings. A new bullet time variant will be the "environmental bullet time" when the game speed will be slowed down during certain scripted events for the player to quickly react. The "bullet cam" will also make a return. Max Payne 3 will have a multiplayer feature, a novelty in Max Payne games. The Multiplayer will feature maps that dynamically alter during play as well as mode progression for all players in a match. There will also be a reward and leveling system included, along with persistent clans and multiple strategic load-out options.

Hitman: Absolution is the upcoming fifth title in the Hitman series by producer, IO Interactive, published by Square Enix and co-published by Eidos. The game will be available for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Microsoft Windows. Hitman: Absolution will run on IO Interactive's proprietary Glacier 2 game engine, combining classic Hitman game mechanics with new mechanics. The game's story will further delve into the mysterious life of Agent 47, the series' protagonist.

Hitman: Blood Money ended with Diana helping 47 to fake his death, in order for him to escape The Franchise. 47 killed their leader, former FBI director Alexander Leland Cayne, though he was part of a larger secret society called Alpha Zerox. Diana and the rest of ICA do not know 47's whereabouts, nor does the player for certain - though the last scene shows 47 entering an Asian (possibly Chinese) establishment, asking suspiciously what they have to offer, "preferably in the back". It is also confirmed that 47 will kill Diana in her mansion under the order of the Agency as Diana found incriminating evidence about the ICA. Diana then asks 47 for a final request which is to protect and find this girl called Victoria. As 47 accepts Diana's dying wish, the ICA deem 47 as traitor and sent a group of assassins known as The Saints to kill him.

Resident Evil Revelations stars Chris Redfield and Jill Valentine, the game displays hallways reminiscent of the mansions of the original Resident Evil and Resident Evil 5. While most of the game takes place aboard the luxurious cruiser Queen Zenobia. Set mainly in Europe, Revelations sees the player characters through ravaged cities, ports, and snowy mountains. Jill and Parker are sent out by B.S.A.A. head Clive R. O'Brian to search for Chris and his new partner, Jessica Sherawat, who have reportedly gone missing during a mission. Meanwhile, Chris and Jessica are operating in a snowy mountain region, searching for evidence of the return of Il Veltro, a bio-terrorist organization responsible for the attack and subsequent outbreak in Terragrigia, an artificial aquapolis that was utterly destroyed on orders from Morgan Lansdale, director of the Federal Bioterrorism Commission.

Jill and Parker find their way into the Mediterranean Sea, acting on Chris' last known coordinates. They find themselves taking a tugboat to a seemingly abandoned cruise ship known as the Queen Zenobia. On board, they find horrific mutants known as Ooze, victims of the t-Abyss virus, and are unable to locate Chris or Jessica. Instead, they find a dummy in of Chris and are knocked unconscious by an Il Veltro agent, stripped of their weapons, and separated.

The story is divided into 12 chapters, which are often further divided into separate segments. It begins with Jill Valentine and her new partner, Parker Luciani, whom the newly formed BSAA have dispatched to investigate the disappearance of Chris Redfield. Jill's horrific adventures largely take place on an abandoned cruise liner, though the game also features several other locations and follows other characters at various points in time, including Chris, Parker, Jessica Sherawat, Keith Lumley, and Quint Cetcham.

The project is headed by Harvey Smith (Co-creative director), the lead designer of Deus Ex, and Raf Colantonio, the founder of Arkane Studios.

Dishonored, set against the backdrop of the city of Dunwall and the Rat Plague, follows the story of Corvo Attano, the last bodyguard to the Empress, Jessamine Kaldwin. Corvo is falsely implicated in his charge's death by Hiram Burrows, her usurper and Lord Regent, and is ultimately imprisoned. Driven by revenge, he escapes from prison years later, and becomes an infamous assassin as he strives to avenge his, and the Empress', fate.

The game features a "Chaos" system that tracks Dishonored's world-state. The more disruptive your actions, the more chaotic the world becomes. For instance, though an area may initally be calm, players can disrupt that serenity. Some actions are less chaotic, such as killing a guard and hiding his body in a dumpster, whereas raising an alarm or killing a civilian in broad daylight will provoke a greater response from the environment. Destiny is an upcoming action role-playing first-person shooter video game in a mythic science fiction open world setting. It is developed by Bungie and published by Activision. The game will be released on PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One video game consoles on September 9, 2014.

Destiny is set seven hundred years into the future in a post-apocalyptic setting following a prosperous period of exploration, peace and technological advancement known as the Golden Age. In a universe where humans have spread out and colonized planets in the Solar System, an event known as "the Collapse" saw the mysterious dissolution of these colonies, the end of the Golden Age, and mankind teetering on the brink of extinction. The only known survivors of the Collapse are those living on Earth, who were saved by "the Traveller", a white, spherical celestial body whose appearance centuries before had enabled humans to reach the stars. The Traveller now hovers above the last remaining human city, and its presence allows the "Guardians of the City"—the last defenders of the human race—the ability to wield an unknown power, only referred to as "The Light".

Upon mankind's first attempt to repopulate and reconstruct after the Collapse, it is discovered that hostile alien races have occupied mankind's former colonies and civilizations and are now encroaching upon the City. Medal of Honor Warfighter

Medal of Honor: Warfighter uses the Frostbite 2.0 engine, which was made by another subsidiary of EA, DICE, which was the partner for Medal of Honor (2010). The engine has vastly improved the graphical schematics and allowed for more complex scenes.
Old features from the previous engine, such as "asking for ammo", peak & lean, and sliding have returned from the old engine. New features in the campaign are things like the Dynamic Door Breach and micro-destruction.

Campaign Missions of Medal of Honor Warfighter include: Unintended Consequences, Through the Eyes of Evil, Shore Leave, Hot Pursuit, Changing Tides, Rip Current, Hat Trick, Finding Faraz, Connect the Dots, Hello and Dubai, Old Friends, Bump in the Night, Shut it Down.

The story focuses on two Navy SEALs of AFO Neptune, namely Mother and Preacher. The game also focuses on their family life back at the States to reveal the family men behind the warriors. The game won't be based on a specific battle, instead focusing on real-world events such as Somalian pirate attacks and hostage rescues in the Philippines.

Preacher, Mother, Voodoo and other central characters are returning from Medal of Honor 2010. Two confirmed locations are the flooded Isabela City, Philippines and Modagishu, Somalia. For the first time in the Medal of Honor series, other non-US Special Forces units are represented as well, such as in Task Force Atlas.

His obsession with security, surveillance, and control borders on the paranoid and dangerous, extending to monitoring his own family (unbeknownst to them).

The storyline of Watch Dogs explores the impact of technology within our society; bringing to the forefront the concept of information warfare, data being interconnected, and the world's increasing use of technology— questioning who exactly runs the computers they depend on. The game is set in a contemporary fictionalized version of Chicago, Illinois, which is one of many cities to feature a supercomputer known as ctOS (Central Operating System). In this version of Chicago, everyone and everything is connected. The city's overarching network controls almost every piece of technology in the city; banks, security cameras, traffic lights, communication hubs, and even key data on the city's residents and activities have been complied into the system and can be used for various purposes. In the game's universe, the Northeast blackout of 2003 was found to be caused by a hacker, prompting the development of CtOS.
