Hey there, this is a really annoying problem, when your idevice just
wont connect. Itunes just couldnt see my iphone, so i had to do hours of
searching on google for a solution, and thanks to the help of these
guys on https://discussions.apple.com/message... I was able to get it working within a few minutes. Just follow these steps.
1) download bios update from

honestly have no idea what this does, but they said to update on the
forum, so please take responsibility when doing this, im just telling
you this is what i did,
2. Connect usb to back of computer and not use the front usb port
3-
If you are jailbroken and have downloaded wifi-sync, then please delete
off your device and computer, the error code will continue to appear
otherwise
4- Turn off idevice, load itunes up, connect device and
turn it on. This worked straight away for me and has been working
since. It may go safe mode, but thats fine. If its jailbroken, just
swipe like you would to access sbs settings and click restart.
5- Make sure itunes is all up to date.
6- Use original cable that came with ipod/iphone. Sometimes the cheaper cables can cause this
If it still isnt working then you have to do a restore im afraid. Best of luck.
